EUSTACE NORFORD FROM MANCHESTER RECEIVES SECOND CRASBO FOR HARASSMENT AND ABUSIVE BEHAVIOR IN OLD TRAFFORD AND HULME
In August 2014, a man from Old Trafford, Manchester, was subjected to a second Criminal Anti-Social Behaviour Order (CRASBO) following a series of troubling incidents involving verbal abuse and harassment.Eustace Norford, aged 51 and residing on Stretford Road, was formally issued this three-year order by Trafford Magistrates Court on the 12th of August.
The CRASBO explicitly bans Norford from shouting, swearing, or engaging in any form of verbal abuse directed at members of the public within the borough of Trafford.
Additionally, he is prohibited from speaking to any child dressed in a school uniform at any location within Trafford, aiming to prevent further confrontations and protect vulnerable individuals from his disruptive behavior.
This legal action follows a series of troubling incidents.
In one such event, Norford was observed shouting abuse at a passerby and his young daughter on Talbot Road in Old Trafford during February.
In another incident in March, he was seen threatening to punch someone inside the Asda supermarket located in Hulme.
These episodes prompted authorities to impose community orders on Norford and to issue the CRASBO to curb his conduct.
The latest CRASBO is an extension of an earlier order issued in July 2013, which also lasted for three years.
That previous order barred Norford from entering Stretford Mall as well as the Aldi and Iceland stores on Seymour Grove, including their car parks.
The combined measures are part of a joint effort by Trafford Council Anti-Social Behaviour Officers and Trafford North Integrated Neighbourhood Policing Team (INPT) officers to address Norford’s persistent disruptive behavior.
Authorities have made it clear that any breach of these orders could result in a jail sentence of up to five years.
Members of the public are urged to report any suspected violations of the CRASBO to Greater Manchester Police by calling 101, ensuring community safety and enforcement of the restrictions put in place to prevent further incidents involving Eustace Norford.
