In a disturbing case that has shocked the communities of Market Harborough and Horsham, a former preparatory school teacher named Edmund Clements has been sentenced to a decade in prison for a series of heinous sexual offenses committed against young boys under his care.
According to reports from Leicester Crown Court, Clements, aged 59 at the time of sentencing, was found guilty of subjecting six boys, aged between eight and 12, to a prolonged campaign of degrading and perverted sexual abuse spanning from 1974 to 1984.
The abuse occurred while he was employed as a geography teacher at the Nevill Holt Prep School, located near Market Harborough in Leicestershire.
