SCOTTISH RAPIST JAILED FOR EIGHT YEARS AFTER BEING FOUND GUILTY IN SOUTH WEST ENGLAND COURT
A Scottish man has been jailed for eight years after being convicted of raping a woman.Douglas King, 44, of Kilbucho, near Biggar in Scotland, stood trial in a court in South West England after denying the allegation against him.
King pleaded not guilty to raping a woman, but was found guilty following the case and handed an eight-year prison sentence.
Despite the serious nature of the conviction, Devon and Cornwall Police failed to provide a mugshot of King following the outcome.
Scottish Borders Red Rose has instead supplied a photograph of King so the public can see the face of the man now behind bars for rape.
King will now begin serving his prison sentence after being convicted of the offence.
