SCOTS NURSE DODGES JAIL AFTER BID TO FILM NAKED WOMAN IN POOL
A PERVERT nurse has dodged jail over his bid to video a naked woman in changing rooms.
The shocked victim spotted Douglas Kennedy, 37, putting his phone over a cubicle wall at a swimming pool.
Lanark Sheriff Court heard he took pictures of a woman in Carluke swimming pool, with the incident occurring last July at a leisure centre in nearby Carluke.
Kennedy admitted the sexual offence at the court, which heard he had since quit his NHS job at the State Hospital, Carstairs.
Sheriff David Bernard ordered Kennedy, of Lanark, to complete 200 hours of unpaid work and put him on the sex offenders list for two years.
The law chief told the creep: 'You are assessed as at a low risk of reoffending.' Defence lawyer Tom McGovern said it was 'clearly a traumatic, life-changing event for everyone involved', adding: 'It was a moment of madness.' Kennedy and his family were frequent visitors to the swimming pool but he has now been banned from such facilities throughout South Lanarkshire.
