BRIDGWATER MAN DONALD BAIN ADMITS SEXUAL ACTIVITY WITH YOUNG GIRLS IN TAUNTON

In a serious development at Taunton Crown Court, Donald Stewart Bain, a 48-year-old resident of Bridgwater, has confessed to engaging in sexual activities with two young girls. The charges against Bain stem from incidents that occurred between April and July of 2010, during which he admitted to having sexual encounters with the minors.

Furthermore, Bain acknowledged two additional charges related to inciting two nine-year-old girls to participate in sexual acts. These admissions highlight the gravity of the allegations and the disturbing nature of the offenses.

Donald Bain appeared before the court on a Monday hearing, where he was represented and subsequently released on bail. The conditions of his bail explicitly prohibit him from making any contact with the victims involved or any other children under the age of 16. This measure aims to prevent any potential interference with the ongoing investigation and to protect the minors involved.

In addition to bail restrictions, Bain is required to comply with the Sexual Offenders’ Registration Order, which mandates that he register as a sex offender. He is also subject to a Sexual Offenders Prevention Order, designed to restrict his activities and movements to prevent further offenses.

The court has decided to adjourn sentencing proceedings until further reports are received from the probation service.
