July 2012 The face of a sex beast THIS is the face of a sex attacker who stalked the streets of Blackpool before targeting two vulnerable young girls.

Detectives today released a computer-generated image of the man they are hunting following the terrifying assaults on teenagers in an alleyway leading to Grange Park.

They believe the two attacks were committed by the same man and a special investigation team has been set up.

Officers have flooded the area in a bid to catch the pervert and will today begin handing out posters and leaflets featuring the man’s face.

In the latest attack, a teenage girl was raped after being dragged from the path while using the cut-through to the estate, next to the bowling green, off Garstang Road.

Police today revealed the incident was linked to another assault, which happened in broad daylight in the same spot two weeks earlier.

On that occasion, a teenage girl was grabbed by the man but the victim screamed and he ran off.

Det Chief Insp Andrea Barrow, who is leading the investigation, told The Gazette: “We have two young girls who have been left traumatised by what has happened and so I would urge anyone who has any information at all about these incidents to come forward and contact us if they have not already done so.” Anyone with any information can contact Blackpool Police on 101 or Crimestoppers on 0800 555111
