According to court reports, Deryk Alex employed seemingly innocent activities, such as piggy-back rides and other games, as a means to conceal his abusive behavior towards a young girl.
These acts of exploitation were carried out in a manner that allowed him to manipulate and silence his victim for a long period, with the abuse only being uncovered after extensive investigation and the victim’s decision to break the silence.
