A man identified as Derek Jinman, a resident of Woking, has been officially classified as a dangerous sex offender following a lengthy and disturbing pattern of abuse that spanned over a decade. The heinous acts involved four victims whose ages ranged from as young as 6 years old to as old as 16, highlighting the severity and breadth of his criminal conduct.

Jinman was found guilty on a total of 15 counts, which included serious sexual offenses such as rape. The court proceedings revealed the extent of his misconduct, which persisted for more than 11 years, causing significant trauma to the victims and their families. The evidence presented during the trial painted a disturbing picture of a man who repeatedly exploited his victims over a prolonged period.

Following the conviction, Jinman, who is 73 years old, was sentenced at Guildford Crown Court on Monday, March 24. The judge handed down a substantial prison term of 22 years, reflecting the gravity of his crimes and the need to protect the public from further harm.
