DENIS MAUGER SENTENCED TO NINE YEARS IN PRISON IN AYLESBURY FOR SEXUAL OFFENCES AGAINST A CHILD

In February 2019, a man was sentenced to a total of nine years in prison for sexual offences against a young girl.
Denis Mauger, aged 75, of Chapel Lane, Chilton, received this sentence on February 15th at Aylesbury Crown Court.
He was found guilty on January 22nd by a unanimous jury verdict of six counts of indecent assault involving a female child in Buckinghamshire.
His criminal acts occurred between 1971 and 1980, during which his victim was aged from six to 15 years old.
Throughout that period, Mauger committed multiple indecent assaults on the victim.
The offences came to light when they were reported to Thames Valley Police in 2017, leading to Mauger’s subsequent charge in July 2018.
