On the night of November 18, Pearce attacked a woman shortly after she left the Revolution bar in Newcastle-under-Lyme.
The incident occurred around 1:30 am, when Pearce followed her into a nearby car park on Water Street.
There, he forcibly pushed her to the ground and subjected her to two separate sexual assaults.
During the assault, Pearce threatened her, warning that she would be killed if she reported the attack to the police.
The victim's ordeal was only brought to an end when Pearce was apprehended by authorities, thanks to DNA evidence linking him to the crime scene.
Pearce's criminal record includes a previous conviction from 2005, where he was sentenced to 21 months for sexually assaulting a 13-year-old girl.
