LEICESTER OFFENDER SENTENCED FOR MULTIPLE RAPES AND DOMESTIC ABUSE
A man named Dean Final, aged 32, has been sentenced to 11 years and eight months in jail for a series of serious crimes involving two former partners.Final admitted to controlling, coercive, and abusive behaviour towards both victims, including physical, sexual, and emotional abuse.
He was convicted of raping one partner on two occasions and attempting to suffocate her, as well as controlling her by restricting contact with family and friends.
The court was informed that Final turned violent towards a pet dog, which was later euthanized due to the abuse.
Regarding his second partner, whom he started a relationship with shortly after his first conviction, Final used tactics such as stealing her phone and keys, making her send photos to prove her whereabouts, and accused her of cheating.
During her pregnancy with his child, he attempted to engage in non-consensual sex and became aggressive when refused, ultimately raping her twice and trying to suffocate her.
Both victims expressed fears that he might return to harm them again.
Final was also handed a sexual harm prevention order, a restraining order, and was placed on licence for three years post-release.
He also admitted causing unnecessary suffering to a dog, which resulted in its death.
The sentencing was delivered in Leicester Magistrates' Court, and Final will be on licence for three years after his prison term.
The case highlighted his manipulative and violent nature, with authorities emphasizing that he is a dangerous individual where he cannot cause further harm to women.
