KIRKCALDY SERIAL CHILD RAPIST DEAN BROWN JAILED FOR 17 YEARS ON MULTIPLE VICTIMS
A depraved window cleaning sex offender named Dean Brown, aged 37, has been sentenced to 14 years and nine months in prison for crimes including abusing a young girl from the age of three. The court heard that Brown removed the child's clothing, including a night nappy, and threatened her during an extensive series of abuses, which included rape.
At the High Court in Edinburgh, Judge Alison Stirling described the abuse as leaving the child anxious, stressed, and suffering flashbacks.
Despite the jury's verdicts convicting him of four rape offences, Brown did not accept the verdicts.
Additionally, Brown had previously victimized an adult woman on four occasions in Kirkcaldy between 2009 and 2018, which she said "ruined her life".
The court detailed that the child victim was abused at houses in Kirkcaldy and Lochgelly from 2012 to 2017, with Brown repeatedly molesting her and instructing her to perform sex acts.
His mental health had reportedly deteriorated over the years, with drug use contributing to his behavior.
The judge ordered that after serving his sentence, Brown should be supervised in the community for an extra three years.
