Staffie Clay was kicked in the head by his thug owner, who also has a conviction for assaulting a woman Magistrates ruled an order to seize Clay and ban Sandham from keeping pets was disproportionate as the attack was ‘a single kick as the dog had latched onto a car tyre’.
Sentencing: four-week curfew; ordered to pay a total of £465.
