OXFORD PAEDOPHILE SENT BACK TO PRISON FOR BREACHING COURT ORDER
A paedophile named David Robins from Abingdon Road, Oxford, has been sentenced to 20 months in prison after breaching a sexual harm prevention order less than a week after his release.Robins, aged 26, appeared at Oxford Crown Court on Tuesday, July 29, and admitted to three breaches of the order.
The order had initially been imposed in November 2023 following his previous arrest for possessing a sexualised picture of Lisa Simpson, an eight-year-old cartoon character.
During that incident, Robins was also caught attempting to engage in sexual communication with a young boy, sending pictures of his penis and requesting naked photographs in return—the account was operated by a police officer.
Robins was released from prison on June 19 and committed new breaches on June 24, which included deleting messages from WhatsApp, TikTok, and Facebook related to his former partner.
Prosecutors described this as a 'serious breach' given his history of disobedience with court orders.
His mitigation argued that Robins has autism and ADHD, which lead to poor judgment and decision-making; his lawyer stated that he panicked and deleted messages to protect his conversations as his phone was to be examined, noting that the messages were appropriate.
Judge Emma Nott remarked that Autism should not be an excuse for poor behavior and told Robins he needed to follow rules, warning that future breaches will result in longer jail time.
In sentencing, she emphasized, 'If you break the rules again, you will get another sentence and it will keep going.' The court highlighted Robins's history of disobedience and recent breaches, which involved deleting messages and messaging his former partner shortly after being released.
The sexual harm prevention order was originally imposed after Robins was caught with inappropriate images of Lisa Simpson and attempting sexual communication with a child.
He was previously jailed for breaches of this order in July last year.
