Wigan Child Sexual Abuser
In June 2007, police issued a public alert for David Parr, a convicted paedophile who is now considered missing. Parr, 44 years old, was sentenced in 2000 to five years in prison and was required to register as a sex offender for life after being convicted of sexually abusing children under 13 and producing indecent images of minors.

He was released on license in January 2004 but failed to update authorities with his whereabouts, leading to his disappearance. Today, Parr, also known by the alias David Cauldwell, was officially added to the Child Exploitation and Online Protection Centre's (CEOP) Most Wanted list.

Originally from Wigan, Greater Manchester, intelligence reports suggest that Parr may have traveled across Europe and has also been known to have spent time in Singapore and Malaysia.

Detective Inspector Stephen Harlow of Greater Manchester Police expressed concern, stating, "David Parr is of serious concern to us."
