DAVID O’RIORDAN SENTENCED TO 9 YEARS IN CITY FOR SEXUAL ABUSE AND CHILD INDECENCY OFFENSES

A convicted paedophile, David O’Riordan, has been sentenced to nine years in prison for sexually abusing his own daughter. The victim, whose identity is protected for legal reasons, also revealed that she sent incriminating images to an online associate, Paul Whalley. Whalley was subsequently sentenced to six and a half years in prison for his role. The mother involved in this case pleaded guilty to charges related to offenses involving young children and the distribution of indecent images. Both offenders will face lifelong registration requirements and restrictions as part of their sentences.
