DAVID MARTIN GROGAN OF LERWICK ADJUDGED SEX OFFENDER IN SHERIFF COURT
A man has been registered as a sex offender after being convicted of filming a child with a concealed mobile phone.
David Martin Grogan, who resides on Ladies Drive in Lerwick, admitted to four charges of sexual misconduct at Lerwick Sheriff Court on Wednesday.
The 48-year-old faced accusations of voyeurism, including recording the child without their knowledge with a hidden mobile device in June 2019.
He also admitted to taking indecent photographs of the child in June and November 2019.
Additionally, Grogan was charged with using a concealed mobile to record the child on September 5, 2019, and again on November 20, 2019.
Following his admission, he was placed on the sexual offenders register.
The court proceedings were adjourned until August 12 to allow for the preparation of reports and a restriction of liberty assessment.
