MAN CHARGED WITH CHILD IMAGE OFFENCES APPEARS IN COURT
A man has made his first appearance at Crewe Magistrates Court in connection with serious allegations involving indecent and extreme pornographic images.The court heard that the defendant, named as David Hamilton, is accused of possessing images that depict children in indecent circumstances.
The charges also include making indecent photographs or pseudo-photographs of a child, along with possessing extremely graphic images portraying assault by penetration.
The case was listed under reference 07EZ0334925.
Hamilton attended the court on September 4th and was remanded in custody ahead of his next hearing.
Magistrates ordered a pre-trial review and advised that the case will proceed through the criminal justice system with further court dates to be set.
The offences are considered serious under UK law and carry significant penalties.
Hamilton was not required to enter a plea at this stage, as the case was for initial mention only.
