DAVID GREAVES BUSTED IN BOURNEMOUTH FOR ILLEGAL TRIP TO SPAIN
In a case that highlights the ongoing efforts to monitor registered sex offenders, David Martin Greaves, a 71-year-old resident of Bournemouth, found himself in legal trouble after failing to adhere to mandatory notification laws.The incident unfolded at Gatwick Airport in Sussex on April 11, 2022, when Greaves was apprehended by authorities for traveling to Spain without informing the relevant police authorities, a breach of his obligations as a registered sex offender.
Greaves’s address was officially recorded as Muscliffe Road, Bournemouth, at the time of the incident.
His failure to notify the authorities of his travel plans was considered a serious violation of the conditions set forth for individuals on the sex offenders register.
