    In a disturbing series of incidents that have shocked the communities of Belfast and Bangor, David Douglas, a 59-year-old known sex offender, has once again come under scrutiny for his inappropriate and illegal behavior in public settings. The latest incident occurred in a Belfast restaurant on March 2, where Douglas's actions prompted serious legal consequences, including a six-month period of detention on remand.

    Douglas, a resident of Park Drive in Bangor, appeared before Belfast Crown Court to face charges related to breaching a Sexual Offences Prevention Order (SOPO) and engaging in sexual activity in the presence of a child. The court was informed that Douglas had previously been classified as a
