In March 2019, Darren Kerslake, 24, of Bristol Road, Bridgwater, was sentenced to 20 weeks in prison after he violated a sexual harm prevention order. Kerslake had arranged a meeting with a girl under the age of 16, despite being prohibited from doing so by the order. Additionally, he was ordered to pay a £115 victim surcharge. The breach occurred when Kerslake met with the schoolgirl he had contacted in violation of the restrictions placed on him due to his previous conviction for sexual offences.
