IRVINE MAN ADMONISHED FOR BREACHING NON-HARASSMENT ORDER
AN IRVINE man has been admonished after breaching a non-harassment order.
This man, Darren Fifer, 32, was instructed to avoid all contact with a woman during a hearing at Kilmarnock Sheriff Court in November 2023.
However, in April of the previous year, he was found in the company of that woman at Seagate in Irvine.
He appeared for sentencing for this breach at the same court on Monday, September 8, where it was reported that he had performed well on a separate community payback order and that there had been no further offending.
Sheriff Nicola Patrick decided to admonish Fifer, which is considered a legal equivalent of a slap on the wrist.
She commented, "This is an excellent report and is completely to your credit.
