A man from Arbroath, identified as 45-year-old Daniel Wrona, has pleaded guilty to assaulting a 14-year-old boy and to being abusive towards his partner.
Wrona appeared at Forfar Sheriff Court accompanied by an interpreter to admit to the charges of assault and threatening or abusive conduct that occurred on March 9 this year.
The court was told that Wrona assaulted the teenager—who cannot be named due to legal restrictions—by pushing him in the body.
He also admitted to shouting and swearing at his partner, demanding to know where she had been, and referring to her in a derogatory and abusive manner.
Both incidents took place at Wrona's residence on Warddykes Road.
Sheriff Mark Thorley noted that Wrona is currently serving a community payback order for similar offences. The court ordered reports to be prepared before sentencing, which is scheduled for June 6.
