PORT GLASGOW MAN DANIEL MCLAUGHLIN FACES CHILD INDECENCY AND DRUG CHARGES IN GREENOCK
A man from Port Glasgow, Daniel McLaughlin, aged 24, is facing multiple charges including possession of indecent images of children and supplying Class A drugs.Prosecutors also allege that McLaughlin, who now resides elsewhere in Port Glasgow, was involved in the supply of MDMA (ecstasy).
Additionally, he is accused of possessing cocaine, cannabis, and the prescription drug etizolam.
It is alleged that between January and June last year, McLaughlin took, permitted to be taken, or made indecent photographs or pseudo-photographs involving children on several occasions.
A further charge claims that he possessed explicit images depicting realistic acts of bestiality.
McLaughlin has entered a plea of not guilty to all charges through his lawyer, Aidan Gallagher, at a preliminary hearing held at Greenock Sheriff Court.
The case is scheduled to return to court in November.
