DANIEL FULLER AND HIS SHOCKING SEXUAL OFFENCES IN WEST LOTHIAN AND BEYOND
Police Scotland has officially responded to the recent conviction of Daniel Fuller, a man found guilty of a series of serious sexual offences spanning over a decade across multiple locations, including West Lothian, the Highlands, and Dundee.Fuller, aged 38, was subjected to a comprehensive legal process that culminated in his conviction last month on seven separate charges.
Following the guilty verdict, Fuller was detained and remanded in custody as the legal proceedings advanced.
Today, at the High Court in Aberdeen, he was handed a severe sentence: a term of 12 years in prison.
In addition to his imprisonment, Fuller was subjected to an extended period of supervised release—specifically, an additional three years on licence.
Furthermore, the court ordered that he be placed on the sex offender register indefinitely, ensuring ongoing monitoring and restrictions designed to protect the public.
Detective Inspector Jennifer Priestley issued a statement commenting on the case, acknowledging the significance of the court’s decision.
She expressed her support for the conviction, describing Fuller as a “predatory and dangerous man” who committed “terrible crimes against his victims.” Inspector Priestley emphasized the importance of the bravery demonstrated by the women who came forward with their stories, which ultimately led to Fuller’s conviction and exposed the cruelty underlying his actions.
She further urged anyone who has experienced abuse to report it to the authorities, reassuring the public that Police Scotland takes all allegations seriously and conducts thorough investigations regardless of how much time has passed since the alleged incidents.
This case highlights the commitment by law enforcement to pursue justice for victims of sexual violence and underscores the importance of speaking out against abuse, regardless of the circumstances or elapsed time.
