Andover Sexual Abuser
A paedophile named Daniel Burridge, aged 38, residing on Newbury Road, Enham Alamein, has been sentenced to jail for moving a child's underwear while they were asleep to take photos of their genitals. During his sentencing at Winchester Crown Court on June 27, he pleaded guilty on March 27 to multiple charges, including engaging with a child under 13 by touching and creating indecent images classified as Category B and Category C. The discovering of his offenses came when a friend borrowed his phone and found images of children that Burridge possessed on three different phones. The court was informed that Burridge had taken a photo of a sleeping child's genitals by moving their underwear. In addition to his 22-month prison sentence, a Sexual Harm Prevention Order was imposed, and his three mobile phones were ordered to be forfeited and destroyed. Judge James Newton-Price KC emphasized that the appropriate punishment was immediate imprisonment, and Burridge was also required to comply with all instructions given to him.
