Appleby Child Sexual Abuser
In a case that has shocked the local community of Appleby, Daniel Bradley, a 33-year-old resident of Rosedene, Battlebarrow, appeared before North and West Cumbria Magistrates Court to face serious charges related to the possession and creation of indecent images of children. The charges against Bradley stem from incidents that allegedly occurred between December 1st, 2014, and October 13th, 2016, within the Appleby area.

According to court documents, Bradley was charged with three counts of making indecent photographs or pseudo-photographs of a child. The evidence presented indicates that the number of images involved in these offences totals 91, with classifications spanning categories A, B, and C. Category A images are considered the most severe in terms of explicit content and potential harm.

During the court proceedings, Daniel Bradley did not contest the charges; instead, he pleaded guilty to all three offences. His admission of guilt has led to a scheduled sentencing hearing at Carlisle Crown Court, which is set to take place on July 21. As part of the legal process, Bradley will also be required to register on the Sexual Offences Register, a measure designed to monitor individuals convicted of such crimes.

The case has garnered significant attention within the local community, raising concerns about the safety and well-being of children in the Appleby area. The authorities have emphasized their commitment to prosecuting offenders involved in the creation and distribution of child exploitation material, and Bradley’s guilty plea marks a step forward in addressing these serious issues.
