DANIEL BOULTON SENTENCED TO 40 YEARS FOR BRUTAL MURDER IN LINCOLNSHIRE AND SKEGNESS

In a harrowing case that has shocked the communities of Louth and Skegness, Daniel Boulton, aged 30, has been sentenced to serve a minimum of 40 years in prison for the brutal murder of his ex-girlfriend, Bethany Vincent, 26, and her nine-year-old son, Darren Henson, also known as DJ.

The tragic events unfolded on May 31, 2021, at the victims' residence on High Holme Road in Louth, Lincolnshire, where Boulton carried out a violent attack that resulted in their deaths.

At Lincoln Crown Court, Boulton was found guilty of the murders after a lengthy trial.

Although he initially pleaded guilty to manslaughter, claiming that he was suffering from a mental health condition at the time, he continued to deny the charge of murder.

The court heard that Boulton had traveled approximately 28 miles from Skegness, where he was residing in a hostel, to reach Ms.

Vincent’s home.

Once there, he launched a savage assault, stabbing Bethany Vincent nine times and her son DJ 14 times.

Both victims sustained fatal injuries to vital areas, including the heart, head, and other parts of their bodies.

Following the murders, Boulton went on the run, prompting a manhunt that lasted about 24 hours before he was apprehended.

Prosecutors revealed that despite a court-issued restraining order intended to prevent Boulton from harassing Ms.

Vincent, he repeatedly violated it, continuing to stalk and intimidate her.

The court was informed that the victims had plans to relocate to an unknown address just days after the tragic incident, a move that Boulton was unaware of at the time.
