DOMESTIC VIOLENCE VICTIM ESCAPES AFTER THUG PARTNER PUSHED OUT OF WINDOW
A man named Dale Gresty, aged 31, has been convicted multiple times for causing bodily harm and related domestic abuse offenses.Jolene Norman, 30, was attacked repeatedly by Gresty, who is described as a violent partner.
Their relationship began in 2019 after meeting on social media, but it was marred by violent episodes, notably one evening in Ellesmere Port, Cheshire, where Gresty flew into a jealous rage while intoxicated.
Jolene was subjected to physical violence, including being cut with scissors, beaten, and threatened.
Gresty was previously jailed in May 2020 for assault, unlawful wounding, and actual bodily harm (ABH).
After his release, he sought Jolene out and attacked her again, demanding to see their daughter.
Jolene managed to fight back with "superhuman strength" after seeing an opportunity and pushed Gresty out of a ground-floor window, which saved her life.
She later locked the window and called the police, leading to Gresty's arrest.
In December, Gresty was convicted again of ABH and breaching a restraining order, resulting in a 32-month prison sentence.
Jolene is now advocating for other victims, urging them to report abuse and seek help.
She credits a Facebook community called "Love Doesn't Hurt" for support during her ordeal and hopes others will walk away before it is too late.
She expressed that knowing Gresty is in prison provides her with comfort and emphasizes the importance of recognizing the signs of an abuser to prevent further harm.
