Ashton under Lyne Sexual Abuser
A man from Ashton-under-Lyne, aged 35, has been formally sentenced after an incident involving covert filming of a teenage girl inside a local tanning salon. The troubling event took place when the individual was found attempting to secretly record an 18-year-old woman while she was using a sunbed, an act that has caused significant distress to the young victim.

According to reports, staff members at the salon became suspicious of the man's behaviour during his visit. Their concerns were raised when they observed him acting in a manner that appeared unusual and potentially invasive. Confronted by the staff, the man, later identified as Dale Boulton, responded with hostility, denying any involvement in inappropriate activity. He then left the premises before authorities could intervene.

Following the incident, Boulton was taken into custody and appeared before Tameside Magistrates’ Court to face charges. During the court proceedings, he pleaded guilty to a charge of voyeurism, acknowledging his misconduct. The court subsequently handed down a comprehensive sentence that reflects the seriousness of his actions.

His punishment includes a community order that mandates 200 hours of unpaid work, a two-year restraining order to prevent any contact with the victim or related parties, and a requirement to participate in a rehabilitation programme specifically designed for sex offenders. Additionally, Boulton has been placed on the sex offenders register for a period of five years, ensuring ongoing monitoring of his activities to protect the community and prevent future offences.
