Glasgow Royston Child Sexual Abuser
In May 2019, a disturbing case unfolded involving Craig Bradley, a 46-year-old man from Royston, Glasgow, who was caught in a sting operation conducted by the vigilante group Wolfpack Hunters. The incident took place at Buchanan Bus Station in Glasgow, where Bradley was apprehended after arriving for what he believed was a clandestine meeting with a 14-year-old girl.

Bradley’s actions came to light when the group recorded him on video, capturing his arrival at the station carrying swimming trunks in a Sainsbury’s bag. During the confrontation, Bradley was seen responding to questions with dismissive remarks, including “Phone my mates, I’m not a paedo,” and at one point, he claimed, “I’m a lawyer,” attempting to deny any wrongdoing.

He had been communicating via a social messaging platform under the alias ‘Craig35,’ engaging with what he believed was a 14-year-old girl named Kenzie from Clydebank. The decoy, posing as a vulnerable teenager, had informed Bradley that she was unwell, to which he responded with inappropriate comments such as “That’s a shame, you look so cute.”

Further evidence revealed that Bradley had arranged to meet the decoy at a Glasgow hotel, where he intended to buy her vodka and coke, describing the meeting as their “wee secret.” The footage showed him preparing for the encounter, with the intent to ensure her safety by sending her home afterward, he claimed.

When confronted by the vigilantes, Bradley admitted to sending sexual messages and planning the meeting. He also attempted to justify his actions by stating he was going to meet her and then send her home to keep her safe. His responses included claiming he was a solicitor, though he later said he worked in an office doing administrative work.

Following his arrest, Bradley faced legal proceedings at Glasgow Sheriff Court. He pleaded guilty to charges of sending sexual communications and arranging to meet a minor. The court heard that he had been in contact with a decoy, believing her to be a 14-year-old girl, and had made arrangements to meet her at Buchanan Bus Station on March 4.

In sentencing, Sheriff Alayne Swanson emphasized the seriousness of the case, warning Bradley that any breach of the court’s orders would result in custody. As part of his sentence, he was ordered to perform 270 hours of unpaid work and placed under supervision for 18 months. The court also deferred sentencing until the following month to allow for background reports, and Bradley was granted bail pending further proceedings.

Since his actions became public, Bradley has lost his employment and his long-term partner, highlighting the personal consequences of his criminal behavior. The case underscores the ongoing efforts of vigilante groups to combat online grooming and the importance of legal measures to address such serious offenses.
