OXFORDSHIRE PAEDOPHILE FOUND GUILTY OF BRIBING BOY WITH PS4
A PAEDOPHILE who abused a young boy in exchange for him playing the PS4 has been found guilty of further sexual offences.Corey Phillips, 20, stood trial at Oxford Crown Court charged with several counts of child sex crimes against a boy aged 13.
Before last week's trial, he pleaded guilty to three counts of sexually abusing the victim – two counts of assault of a boy by touching and one count of inciting a boy to engage in penetrative activity.
A 12-strong jury also found Phillips guilty of two further counts of causing or inciting a boy to engage in sexual activity and two counts of rape.
He was found not guilty of one count of inciting a boy to engage in sexual activity.
Phillips from Wincey View, Great Haseley, will be sentenced on February 23.
During the trial, it was revealed that he had 'bribed' his victim into performing sexual acts, including with turns playing on his video game console.
Prosecutors stated: “He [the victim] was sexually abused at the hands of this defendant who was quite a lot older than him.
He deserved better than being sexually abused by this defendant in the way that he was.” Phillips was arrested on July 15 last year and said no comment during police interviews.
