MAN JAILED FOR ASSAULT AND STRANGULATION

A man from St Dennis has admitted guilt to two charges of actual bodily harm (ABH) and one count of strangulation.

Connor Vicary, aged 25 and residing on Manson Place in St Dennis, changed his plea to guilty during a hearing at Truro Crown Court.

The charges stem from incidents involving a woman at St Minver Holiday Park on November 20, where he was accused of assaulting her resulting in ABH, as well as an earlier assault on November 5 at St Dennis, which also led to ABH.

The court sentenced Vicary to a total of 40 months in prison.

He was further ordered to serve 27 months behind bars.

Additionally, he was subject to a restraining order that prohibits him from contacting the victim until June 23, 2036.
