July 2019 Paedophile tried to upload indecent images of kids on to Facebook A pervert caught trying to upload indecent images of children on to Facebook has been jailed. Connor Machin, of Blackwood Place, Bodicote, had already admitted counts of distributing and making indecent images of children as well as having extreme pornography which showed animals engaged in sexual activity  The 24-year old appeared at Oxford Crown Court for sentencing  At that hearing prosecutors said that Machin’s home was raided after suspicions were raised. A mobile phone and an i-Pad were seized and a number of banned images were later discovered on the phone and efforts had been made to upload them on to the social media platform. Sentencing, Judge Nigel Daly said a custodial penalty had to be imposed and Machin was jailed for 16 months and must sign the sex offenders register for 10 years.
