A 67-year-old man has been sentenced to 11 years in prison for historical sex offences against children.Colin Stear, a resident of Southsea, was convicted of assaulting a boy under 13 through touching, as well as two counts of inciting a boy under 13 to engage in sexual activity.
The crimes were committed against two victims during the period from 2004 to 2018 in Portsmouth.
The sentencing took place at Portsmouth Crown Court on Friday.In addition to his prison term, Stear was ordered to comply with an indefinite Sexual Harm Prevention Order and received a three-year extension to his license period.
