A man convicted of repeatedly raping a highly vulnerable woman and coercing her into having sex with other men at his residence has received a 21-year prison sentence.
West Yorkshire Police reported that Cleveland Wyatt, aged 62, along with another individual, was detained and formally charged in March 2023 following allegations from the victim.
She stated that she had been subjected to rape and assault by multiple men at a property located in the Chapeltown district of Leeds.
Wyatt, whose address is Ederoyd Drive in Pudsey, was found guilty during a trial held at Leeds Crown Court earlier this year, on two counts of rape and two counts of forcing the woman into non-consensual penetrative sex.
The other man involved was acquitted of all charges.
On Thursday, Wyatt was sentenced at the same court, confirming the severity of his crimes and his ongoing detention.
