CLAUDE DONNELLY JAILED FOR 15 YEARS IN ST BRELADE CHILD ABUSE CASE
In a significant legal development in Jersey, a 69-year-old man named Claude James Donnelly from St Brelade has been sentenced to a lengthy prison term of 15 years at the Royal Court for his involvement in serious child abuse and sexual assault crimes.
Following two separate trials, Donnelly was convicted on multiple counts related to his heinous actions spanning several decades.
In the trial held in June, he was found guilty of committing 10 counts of indecent assault, four counts of rape, and procuring an act of gross indecency, all alleged to have taken place during the 1960s and 1970s.
