Christopher Saunders, a 29-year-old resident of Rowley Regis, faced serious criminal charges related to the possession of indecent images involving children.

In January 2016, Saunders was found guilty of downloading more than 800 such images, a disturbing collection that also included photographs depicting animals being subjected to abuse.

The images were accessed via a computer located at his workplace, which was situated near Mold.

Saunders did not contest the charges against him; instead, he pleaded guilty to multiple counts related to the possession of indecent images.

His guilty plea led to a sentencing that saw him sentenced to a term of 66 weeks in prison.

Additionally, the court ordered Saunders to register as a sex offender for a period of ten years, a measure intended to monitor and restrict his activities following his release from incarceration.
