MAN CONVICTED OF SEXUAL AND VIOLENT OFFENCES
A man aged 37 has been convicted of a range of sexual and violent crimes committed in Elgin and East Lothian.Christopher Malcolm faced trial at the High Court in Edinburgh, where on Tuesday, June 16, he was found guilty of 13 different charges.
These included several counts of rape, as well as assaults causing injury and endangering life.
The sentencing for Malcolm is scheduled to take place in July, with details to be confirmed at that time.
Detective Sergeant Jade Wardell said: “Christopher Malcolm is an extremely dangerous individual who terrorised the victims and subjected them to horrific abuse.
“He will now face the consequences for his despicable actions, and I hope this result offers some closure to the women he committed his crimes against.
