CHRISTOPHER GORDON SENTENCED FOR CHILD ABUSE IN AYLESBURY

In October 2019, a man from Aylesbury was handed down a significant prison sentence after being found guilty of serious sexual offences, following a thorough investigation conducted by Thames Valley Police.

Christopher Magnus Gordon, aged 61 and residing on Grafton Road in Aylesbury, was sentenced to a total of seven years behind bars at Aylesbury Crown Court on Wednesday, October 9th.

The court's decision came after Gordon was convicted on June 24th of one count of indecent assault on a child under the age of 13, as well as possession of extreme pornography. These convictions followed a six-day trial during which the evidence was carefully examined and presented.

The offences related to two distinct periods in Gordon’s criminal history. The indecent assault took place in Aylesbury during 1993 and 1994, involving a young victim who was a child at the time of the abuse. The possession of extreme pornography was committed between 2010 and 2012, indicating a pattern of disturbing behavior spanning nearly two decades.

The victim, whose identity remains protected, was a child at the time of the offences, highlighting the gravity and heinous nature of Gordon’s crimes.
