SOUTHAMPTON MAN ADMITS NEARLY 20 CHILD SEX OFFENCES INCLUDING RAPE AND INDECENT IMAGES

A man named Christopher Dwan has admitted to nearly 20 child sex offences, including raping a teenage girl.

Dwan, aged 39 and from Reeves Way, Bursledon, appeared before Southampton Crown Court on a Monday.

He pleaded guilty to charges that include rape, sexual activity with a child, and taking indecent images of a child.

The offences reportedly occurred between the summer of 2024 and June of this year and involved two girls, one of whom was 13 years old.

Dwan admitted to committing two rapes, six charges of sexual activity with a child, and three charges of taking indecent photographs of a child.

He also confessed to voyeurism, upskirting, and making indecent images.

It was also revealed that he had previously admitted to four charges of making indecent images of a child and one of taking an indecent image.

The court has scheduled his sentencing for October 3 at Southampton Crown Court.
