CHRISTOPHER DAVIES FROM CAMBRIDGESHIRE SENTENCED TO 12 YEARS FOR HISTORIC CHILD SEX OFFENCES

A man from Cambridgeshire, Christopher Davies, has received a 12-year prison sentence after being found guilty of historical child sex offences that occurred between 1992 and 1995. The victim, who remains anonymous, had confided in family members several years ago, but the crimes were only reported to authorities in 2013. Jeffrey Gauge was convicted of attempted rape and indecent assault related to these offences. In addition to his prison term, Gauge was ordered to be on the sex offenders register for life.
