FORMER PC JAILED FOR ARRANGING TO RAPE CHILDREN
A DETECTIVE involved in bringing a former policeman to justice after he arranged to meet several underage boys in order to rape them has spoken of his relief that he was “unable to live out his fantasies”.Christopher Cuthbertson was detained at Strensham Services near Worcester as he anticipated a meeting with another man who he believed would facilitate an encounter with a 12-year-old boy named ‘Sam’.
The alleged meeting was part of a police operation, which uncovered evidence from Cuthbertson’s phone indicating plans to meet with actual minors, including a child as young as five years old.
On March 7, at Worcester Crown Court, Cuthbertson, 42, admitted to 11 charges, among them possession and distribution of indecent images.
He received a prison sentence of 13 years.
