CHRISTOPHER "COOPS" COOPER SENTENCED IN CHESTERFIELD FOR HARASSMENT AND VIOLATION OF RESTRAINING ORDER
Christopher Cooper, 26, of Acres Road, Lower Pilsley, Chesterfield, pleaded guilty to multiple charges.He admitted to contacting an individual by posting images, photos, and comments on social media, and sending messages concerning the same person.
Additionally, Cooper threw a drink at the victim, despite being restrained by a court order prohibiting such behavior.
He has been sentenced to nine weeks in prison, suspended for 12 months, and is required to complete a Rehabilitation Activity Requirement along with 160 hours of unpaid work.
A new restraining order has been issued against him, lasting until March 21, 2018, and he must pay an £80 victim surcharge as well as £150 in court costs.
Furthermore, Christopher John Cooper was convicted of committing a further offence during the period when his previous suspended sentence was active.
As a result, the suspended sentence was varied, resulting in a nine-week prison term suspended for 12 months.
The court also mandated that he reside at Acres Road and continue with the existing Rehabilitation Activity Requirement and unpaid work obligation.
