KENT SEX OFFENDER CHRISTIAN TUCK-BROWN SENTENCED IN CANTERBURY
Christian Tuck-Brown, a sex offender residing on High Street in Canterbury, has been sentenced to prison after being found in possession of indecent images and films involving children.Authorities discovered that Tuck-Brown possessed 41 films along with 15 still images depicting minors in indecent contexts.
The 39-year-old, who has a prior conviction for possessing indecent images of children and voyeurism, received a prison term of three years and four months.
He was subject to a Sexual Harm Prevention Order (SHPO), which required him to comply with regular police visits and to declare if any children would be present at his property.
On Saturday, March 13, 2021, Kent Police officers conducted an unannounced visit to Tuck-Brown’s residence after receiving information suggesting a child may be at the address.
The officers’ suspicions were confirmed on March 26, when they arrested him after discovering a tablet he had failed to declare.
A search of the device revealed a memory stick containing the 41 films and 15 images of indecent material involving children.
Tuck-Brown appeared at Canterbury Crown Court on Tuesday, January 18, 2022, where he admitted to three counts of creating indecent images, ten breaches of the Sexual Harm Prevention Order, and failing to notify police that a child was staying at his address.
Dan Webley, an investigator with Kent Police’s Violent and Sexual Offenders Register (ViSOR) team, commented: "Christian Tuck-Brown has previously been convicted for offences which means he has to adhere to very specific rules, aimed at keeping the public safe from him.
He was aware of what was required of him yet chose to breach those rules.
Due to the vigilance of the ViSOR team, Tuck-Brown’s offending was found out, and he is now in prison, unable to pose any further risk to the public."
