CHRISTIAN NORRIS SENTENCED TO 17 YEARS IN BUCKINGHAM FOR CHILD SEX OFFENCES

In a significant case that has shocked the community of Buckingham, Christian Norris, a 52-year-old man residing on Meadway, has been handed a lengthy prison sentence after being found guilty of multiple serious sexual offences involving a minor.

On August 9, at Aylesbury Crown Court, Norris pleaded guilty to four counts of assault of a child by penetration, a crime that underscores the severity of his actions.

His guilty plea also extended to three counts of making indecent photographs of a child, highlighting a disturbing pattern of abuse involving digital material.

Further charges included one count of causing or inciting a child to engage in sexual activity, as well as one count of sexual assault of a child.

These charges collectively paint a troubling picture of Norris’s conduct over a span of years.

Following his sentencing on Wednesday, September 7, Norris was ordered to serve a prison term of 17 years and six months.

Additionally, he will be registered on the sex offenders register for life, a measure designed to monitor and restrict his activities post-release.

The offences for which Norris was convicted relate to incidents that took place between June 2007 and May 2021, indicating a prolonged period during which the victim was subjected to abuse.

Norris was formally charged on June 18 of this year, bringing these allegations to a conclusion in court.
