EXETER MAN CHRISTIAN LEEDHAM PLEADS GUILTY TO CHILD-ABUSE IMAGES CRIME IN DEVASTATING CASE
In a serious case that has shocked the community of Exeter, Christian Leedham, aged 35, has admitted to possessing a significant collection of indecent images of children.The charges were formally presented before a district judge at Exeter Magistrates' Court, where Leedham pleaded guilty to a total of 11 counts related to the creation and possession of these illicit photographs.
Prosecutor Karen Ball outlined to the court that authorities had discovered Leedham in possession of over 500 images, which were classified into different categories based on their content and severity.
The images ranged from the lowest grade, level one, to the most severe, level five.
Specifically, Leedham admitted to possessing 272 images at level one, which is considered the least severe, along with 95 images at level two, 77 at level three, 102 at level four, and a single image at level five.
These figures highlight the extent of his possession and the disturbing nature of the material involved.
At this stage, further details about the images or the circumstances of their discovery were not disclosed to the court.
The judge was informed that due to the gravity of the offences, Leedham’s case would be transferred to Exeter Crown Court for sentencing.

Following his guilty pleas, Leedham was ordered to register as a sex offender, a standard legal requirement for individuals convicted of such crimes.
