BIRMINGHAM, ENGLAND — Christian Dodd, originally from Birmingham and also known to have lived in Penryn and Paignton, has been handed a 13-year prison sentence for two disturbing offences. Despite the severity of the crimes, Dodd is expected to serve just 8.5 years before being released.

In addition to the 13-year sentence, Dodd received a 7-year sentence for a second offence, but the court ruled that both sentences will run concurrently.
