CHRISTIAN ABU FROM SCHÄER – WINDERMERE AND MANCHESTER FLIGHTS HORROR

In a disturbing incident that unfolded on a flight from Alicante to Manchester, Christian Abu, a 26-year-old chef from Schaer – Windermere, committed a series of shocking acts that have left the community and authorities deeply unsettled.

During the flight, Abu-Schaer was observed engaging in bizarre and repulsive behavior. He was standing near the restroom when he was seen by a fellow passenger facing an eight-year-old girl and her mother, who was asleep at the time. The passenger who witnessed the incident reported that Abu-Schaer was exposing himself and touching his genitals in full view of the young girl, an act that was described as both bizarre and disgusting by the court.

The situation escalated further when Abu-Schaer sexually assaulted a member of the cabin crew by grabbing her bottom. The young girl later confided in her mother about what she had seen, prompting the flight crew to inform the captain. The captain, in turn, notified ground authorities, who were waiting at Manchester Airport to arrest Abu-Schaer as the plane was preparing to land.

Following his arrest, Abu-Schaer was taken into custody and brought before Manchester Minshull Street Crown Court. During the proceedings, a judge condemned his actions, labeling him a sexual deviant and stating that he “clearly has a problem.” The court heard that at the time of the incident in November, Abu-Schaer was already on police bail for a similar offense in the Lake District, where he had been residing and working in a hotel kitchen.

In that earlier incident, a resident spotted Abu-Schaer in a back alley shortly after midnight, standing completely naked and pleasuring himself. When police arrived, they found him dressed but still touching himself. Further searches revealed that he was in possession of both cocaine and cannabis. Abu-Schaer, who resides on Crook Road in Windermere, pleaded guilty to multiple charges, including sexual assault, two counts of indecent exposure, and possession of drugs.

Judge Bernadette Baxter addressed the court, stating, “In September and November last year, you engaged in what can only be described as bizarre and disgusting behavior for a young man of 26. You have a serious problem, Mr. Abu-Schaer. You have a sexual deviance and difficulty that you need to address, and the public will not be protected from you until you are forced to confront these issues.”

As a consequence of his actions, Abu-Schaer was sentenced to a three-year community order, which includes participation in a sex offender treatment program. Additionally, he was ordered to register as a sex offender for five years. The court also noted that he lost his job as a chef following his arrest in Cumbria.

Following the case, the mother of the young girl expressed her feelings, saying, “It’s a poor show from the justice system – but we are glad he has finally appeared in court.” The incident has sparked widespread concern about safety and the adequacy of justice in handling such disturbing cases.
