CHARLIE WARD OF NEWPORT RECEIVES COMMUNITY ORDER OVER INDECENT IMAGES
A man from Newport, Charlie Ward, aged 26, has been handed a community order after admitting to possessing indecent images of children as well as an extreme image involving an animal.
Ward was discovered with dozens of images on his devices, some classified as the most serious category.
The court noted his remorse during sentencing and imposed a three-year community order.
He is also required to pay costs and a surcharge, along with attending a sexual offences awareness course.
